A lifelong artist and writer, S.K. Ocean has worked in the animation industry for over a decade, serving as art director of three animated series at major studios. She’s developed two television shows and a feature, and in 2022, she co-wrote and co-illustrated an early reader graphic novel series for Simon & Schuster. When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog, listening to Taylor Swift, playing Magic: The Gathering with friends, and a good matcha latte.

Her debut novel is a swoony, angsty, and heartfelt contemporary romance set in the Hollywood animation industry.
